University Hall
The newest addition to our city campus halls of residence opened in February 2012 and is home to over 400 students, making it our biggest hall of residence.
Based at our City Campus, this ultra-modern dual tower complex is located on Whitaker Place and houses 442 students in single bedrooms on 13 levels.
The Residential Management team which consists of the Head Hall, Residential Life Manager, Residential Life Co-ordinator and Residential Assistants, arrange social and recreational events throughout the year to help you make friends and settle into student life at the University.

There are 34 fully-furnished single bedrooms on each floor, divided into two wings. The North Wing has 18 bedrooms, two bathrooms and a study pod, while the South Wing has 16 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
We'll provide you with a blanket, a pillow and bed linen. Please note that you will have to supply your own towels.
The wings are connected by a shared common room and kitchenette.
University Hall is fully catered meaning you'll enoy three nutritious meals a day in the dining hall. For those with dietary requirements, you'll be able to choose vegetarian, halal and meat options for lunch and dinner. If you wish, you can arrange for a packed lunch or a late dinner.
Each floor has its own kitchenette equipped with a fridge and microwave. There are also vending machines located throughout University Hall.
There is a well equipped games room as well as a large screen TV in the TV lounge. There is also a TV in the common room on every second floor.
You'll be able to relax on one of the two decks, taking in the breathtaking views of the city and the harbour.
All residents receive membership to the University's Recreation Centre, which is a few minutes walk away.
There are study rooms available for use as well as academic mentoring sessions and informal study groups to help you along.
There are computers and printers available and you will also have broadband access from your bedroom.
For those studying Music, there is a practice room available.
