Conference delegates

O’Rorke Hall is the perfect place to stay when you are attending a conference in Auckland over summer. The special summer rates will suit your budget at only $65 for bed and breakfast. You can book summer accommodation from 17 November 2010 to 16 February 2011.

O’Rorke Hall is conveniently located within a few minutes’ walk from the University City Campus, near the main bus routes, five minutes’ from Queen Street and with easy access to the motorway. The hall can accommodate 350 delegates. For larger conferences, bookings can be referred to International House.

Rooms
The accommodation is in single rooms.

Linen
Linen is provided.

Internet
Internet access is included but delegates need to bring their own laptops and connecting ethernet cables.

Parking
Parking in the basement car park can be organised for $5 a day.

Security
The Hall is secure as access is limited to residents and is by swipe tag only.

Meeting rooms and catering
If you wish to use one of the common rooms as a meeting room, there may be an additional charge for any setup required. Catering and drinks can also be organised for a special function, cocktail or dinner. Please discuss your requirements with us.

Arrivals and departures

• Check-in time is between 2pm and 5pm. Please arrange later arrivals with us.
• Check-out time is 10am.

• We are happy to assist conference organisers with direct bookings from delegates if preferred, or can arrange for a group booking.
• You can contact us for a customised booking form to place on your conference website. We can make tentative bookings for expected numbers.
• We will require credit card details to confirm your booking.
• $125 will be charged per lost key and swipe tag.
