Claire Whitehead, a resident of Number 14 Whitaker Flats is studying for a Masters in Health Science.

"If I had to relive the past few years, I would definitely choose University accommodation again.

"Not only do you get onsite care, but the people you meet are for life. I have been to several halls throughout my University career, and my experience is always the same; great people and great fun! I now have friends from all over the world who have introduced to their own cultures.

"I love belonging to a tight knit, community where people look out for one another, have similar interests and share their own little taste from home. There is always someone interesting and new to talk to as well as someone who has been through the same ‘moving-out-of-home’ jitters, plus you may even get tutors in the returning students!

"Be it instant friends in lectures, crepes on Sunday morning, or pot luck dinners, University accommodation encompasses all this and more."
