UniLodge

Located at the southern end of the city campus within easy walking distance of the General Library, UniLoge is home to 353 students each year and is ideal for those students looking for a more independent lifestyle.

About the residence

UniLodge is a high-rise and low-rise complex connected by a covered walkway located on both Anzac Ave and Beach Road, making it a short walk away from the University of Auckland General Library.

There are a number of  recreation facilities for you to enjoy on-site which include a lap pool, sun deck, BBQ area,  games room, theatre and gymnasium.

The accommodation management team are there to support you during your time in residence along with their team of Resident Advisors who live on site and the Building Management team who are available during office hours.

Apartments

UniLodge offers comfortably furnished self contained studio, deluxe studio, twin-share, one, two, three and four bedroom apartments.

You will need to provide your own towels and bedding linen, however you can purchase a linen pack throughout the online accommodation shop before you arrive.

Each room has broadband internet access to the University's Residential Network (ResNet), you will need to provide your own Ethernet cable. Wifi internet access is available in the communal areas.

You are responsible for cleaning your own room and apartment. Common areas such as the games room are cleaned regularly by UniLodge cleaning staff.

Catering

UniLodge is a self-catered residence, meaning you're responsible for your own meals.

The studio apartments in the Anzac Ave building offer a small kitchenette with microwave, kettle and small fridge, and you can use the large communal kitchen located on the ground floor to cook your meals.

In the deluxe studio, one, and two bedroom apartments, and the studio apartments in the Beach Road building, a small kitchen is provided with cooking hobs, kettle, microwave and small fridge.

A basic kitchen pack is provided in all apartments.

Recreation

When you aren't busy studying, you can relax by the pool or on the sun deck, enjoy use of the games room, theatre and gymnasium or utilise the BBQ area which is great for group events.

The accommodation team organise a number of social and recreational events throughout the year which you are able to take part in and gives you the opportunity to connect with your UniLodge community.

Each resident is provided with membership to the University Recreation Centre; this is a 10 minute walk away.
