Located adjacent to the Auckland Domain (the city's oldest park and home to the War Memorial Museum) and only a short walk from the Owen G. Glenn Building, Carlaw Park Student Village welcomed its first residents in February 2014.

Carlaw Park is home to 433 residents in a combination of two, three and four bedroom apartments spread throughout four buildings ranging from four to seven levels. Each building's layout creates a secure outdoor area with direct access to shared common areas.
