About Carlaw Park Student Village
Located adjacent to the Auckland Domain (the city's oldest park and home to the War Memorial Museum) and only a short walk from the Owen G. Glenn Building, Carlaw Park will be welcoming its first residents in February 2014.
Carlaw Park will be home to 433 residents in a combination of two, three and four bedroom apartments spread throughout four buildings ranging from four to seven levels. Each building's layout creates a secure outdoor area with direct access to shared common areas.
Priority placement will be given to new and returning postgraduate students, returning international students, both graduate and undergraduate as well as returning domestic students. A limited number of apartments will be designated for students with families.

There are 11 two bedroom (designated to families only), 69 three bedroom and 51 four bedroom fully furnished apartments available.
You're provided with a mattress protector, two sheets, pillow, pillow case and a continental blanket. Please note that you will need to supply your own towels.
Each room has access to the University's WiFi network.
Each apartment is furnished with a galley style kitchen equipped with a fridge, microwave, oven and kettle. A basic kitchen pack is provided with all kitchen utensils and crockery.
A large communal kitchen is also available to residents for group events.
Each apartment has a furnished lounge room, and residents can also enjoy use of the communal spaces which include a lounge area, games room, and study space.
Each resident has a membership to the University's Recreation Center. This is a 10 minute walk away.
The Auckland Domain is right on your doorstep and the 75 hectares of landscape park features sports fields, a cricket pavilion, duck ponds, sculptures, two beautiful glass houses which form the Wintergarden, and is also home to the Auckland War Memorial Museum.
Your fees cover a number of services that you do not have to pay additional for, including
- Utilities such as water and electricity.
- Grounds, building and facilities maintenance and management.
- Broadband internet access via ResNet.
- Lockable bike shed.
Other services are available if you wish to use them. These are at your own expense
